Who can join? All full-time and part-time University of Lethbridge students, from any faculty. Faculty, staff and members of the Lethbridge community are warmly welcome at our public events.

Do I need to be a physics or math major?
Not at all. Our members study everything from geography to music. If you're curious about the universe, you belong here.
Does it cost anything?
No. Membership and almost all events are free. For the occasional trip with real costs (like transport to a dark-sky site), we try to subsidise as much as we can.
I'm in first year and a bit intimidated. Is that okay?
Completely. Many of our events are designed with first-years in mind, and everyone on the executive remembers exactly how that felt. A social or a film night is the easiest way in.
How much time do I need to commit?
As much or as little as you like. Come to one event a term or help run them every week — both are great.
Do I need my own telescope?
No. We bring club telescopes and binoculars to every observing night, and experienced members will show you how to use them.
How do I run for the executive?
Elections are held each spring at the annual general meeting. Any member can nominate themselves. Volunteering during the year is a great way to learn how the club works first.
